Support Groups
CSSFI recognizes the profound impact that peer support can have on the recovery process. Our Support Groups are an essential part of our services, offering individuals the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges. We facilitate well-established support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), which provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their stories, offer encouragement, and gain strength from one another. These groups operate on the principle that shared experiences can be a powerful tool in overcoming addiction, helping participants realize they are not alone in their struggles.
The structured environment of our support groups promotes accountability, fosters a sense of community, and encourages participants to take active roles in their own recovery journeys. Regular meetings, guided by the principles of AA and NA, provide continuity and a consistent support network, which are crucial for maintaining long-term sobriety. By engaging in these groups, individuals not only receive emotional support but also practical advice and coping strategies that can help them navigate the challenges of recovery. The peer-led nature of these groups empowers participants to support one another, creating a network of care that extends beyond the walls of the foundation.
